The carbon version of this picture shows the busy narrow streets of the old town of Genoa. Many these streets and building had been used for trade in the past centuries. Built between the mountains and the sea there was not much room for the streets and large squares and the buildings, most of the 5 stories high, are often almost touching each other. Nevertheless there is one church next to the other built centuries ago and today full of treasures to be explored.

This picture shows the busy traffic in these streets full of traders, without even showing one of the traders. It help's to transmit the emotion of the black and white calculation of trade.
